Our journey begins with the early
flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. From the plane also we can view the splendid
view. It will take us around half an hour to reach Lukla from Kathmandu. We can
observe many ever flowing rivers throughout the way, which flows directly from
the mountains melting the snow. Due to the presence of other many fellow
travelers, our journey from Lukla to the base camp seems easy and short. From
the crowd of people, we can easily identify the popularity of Everest base camp trekking among the
world. Not only natural beauty if you are equally passionate towards the
cultural beauty then surely, but this region also won’t let you unsatisfied. We
can see many monasteries at Tengboche and Pangboche of the Khumbu region. The
flags of their community blowing with wind seem spectacular.
Itinerary
Day01: Arrive at Tribhuvan
international airport
When you arrive at TIA, a
representative of Everest Trekking
Routes will be there to welcome. After receiving the heartwarming welcome
from the representative, we can proceed towards the Hotel. The night we will
spend at the hotel discussing the trekking and preparing for the
trekking. The hotel will offer us a delicious dinner.
Day02: Flight to Lukla from
Kathmandu and trek to Phakding
After having breakfast,
we will escort towards the airport as we have to fly over to Lukla
for around 45 minutes. After boarding from the flight at the height of 2800m,
our gateway towards our destination resumes. We have to walk until we reach to
Phakding. We spend the night at the nearest lodges in that area.
Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
We have to continue our
way to the pine forests along with the Dudh Koshi River. After walking for
several hours we can enter the Sagarmatha National Park. Continuing our
journey we can reach Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar offers us with magnificent and wonderful views. We stay the night at Namche Bazaar at the
altitude of 3440m above sea level.
Day 04: Rest day
After having trekking of over 5-6
hours in the stony trails, it is better to stay the day at Namche Bazaar. This
place is also very beautiful. We can roam many places here. The rest day will
also help us to adapt our self at a high altitude where the presence
of oxygen is generally low. This place is well facilitated with government
offices, ATMs, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, and many things. We can
also visit the Sherpa community there
Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Phortse
After walking for around5-6 hours, we can
reach Phortse. We can view a spectacular view all the way to Phortse. We can
see mountains like Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, and a
close view of other many mountains. We can see many musk deer, snow leopard,
and other high altitude living animals. Finally, we reach at Phortse at the
altitude of 3870m above sea level.
Day 06: Phortse to Dingboche:
We can see many monasteries at
Phortse with beautiful paintings and pictures posted on it. Then we
continue our way up to the hills. We can have a close view of Mt. Ama
Dablam throughout the way. After walking around 6 hours we can reach at
Dingboche. There we can see many fields enclosed by stone walls to protect the
corns and grains from the snowy wind and animals. Mainly they grow Barley, Buckwheat, and Potatoes. We stay the night at Dingboche.
Day 07: Rest day at Dingboche:
Dingboche is situated at the
altitude of 4360m above sea level. We will receive a delicious dinner at the
hotel. We can see Mt. Ama Dablam(6856m) so closely as if we can touch
them. The rest day will help us further to be familiar with nature. The
altitude will create problem further on the way. We stay the
night there.
Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche:
After walking for 2-3 hours we can
reach to Lobuche from Dingboche. We can see many mountains all the way to
the Lobuche. Lobuche is situating at the height of 4940m. As we move up
with the altitude some of our fellow travelers may fell altitude sickness. We
may stay the night at Lobuche.
Day 09: Lobuche to Everest base
camp:
We have to walk around 8-9 hours to
reach Everest base camp. We may see Mt. Pumori, Mt. Mahalangur, and Mt.
Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse, and other several mountains. After walking for
several hours, we can reach to Gorak Shep, we will find snow-capped mountains
looming all around us including the top of the world. We continue our journey
to Everest base camp until we reach there. After having a short journey to the
Everest base camp, we will return to Gorak shep again.
Day 10: Gorak Shep- Kala
Patthar-Pheriche
Today is the last part of our objective. The team of Google treks visit Mustang starts our journey early in the morning witnessing the glance of early morning’s sun. We can see a spectacular view of the sun rising between the mountains from Kal Patthar. We have to walk around 8-9 hours today. Kala Patthar is situated at the height of 5545m whereas the Pheriche is down to the hill at 4280m.

Day11: Pheriche to Namche
We start the day will trekking
to downhill to Namche. We have to continue our main trail throughout the way.
Several villages lie at the way. As we are moving down to the hills, we
comparatively fell better and better. Similarly, we can view the beautiful
mountains alongside the way. The Namche is situated at the height of 3570m.
Day 12: Namche to Lukla
Today is the last day to trek.
We have to walk around 4-5 hours to reach at our destination. We may enjoy the
green forest covered by Rhododendron and pine forest. We have to walk through
the Sherpa Community across the Dudh Koshi River. We spend the night at Lukla
throwing all the fatigue that we have gained during the trekking.
Day13: Lukla to Kathmandu
It will take only a few minutes for us
to fly back to Kathmandu. During the flight, we can view the panoramic view of
different mountains from a bird’s eye prospects. It will be an easy landing to Kathmandu so we can spend the day visiting the cultural heritage
of Kathmandu.
Day14: Farewell
The final departure will be at
Tribhuvan international airport. A good arrangement of your departure is
already done by Everest Trekking
